On September 20, fans around the world will gather for Batman Day 2025, celebrating their love of DC’s Caped Crusader, Batman. Notable not for having any superpowers but for his intelligence, skill, and technical savvy, Batman is one of the most iconic characters in the world and is recognized across the globe thanks to his portrayal in universally beloved comics, TV shows, cartoons, movies, and more since he first appeared in 1939’s Detective Comics #27. Batman’s story of determination and grit has inspired generation after generation.
At Comics World, we are celebrating the world's greatest detective by asking Batman fans to gather around as we ask the question: What does Batman Day mean to you?
For me, I love the Batman Animated series as a kid and one of the most interesting aspect of the series have always Batman's extensive rogue gallery. A hero is only as interesting as their nemesis, no? Batman has one of the most colorful cast of characters ranging from a kleptomania cat burglar to a deranged scientist who finds love in nature and botany. Femme fatales aside, Batman has and will continue to fascinate readers for a very long time to come as recent surge in comics sales for DC has shown.
On 20 Sep 2025, Comics World invites you to celebrate the iconic Bruce Wayne and his alter ego at our premises with our usual offer of quality comics at affordable prices. We have curated a collection of Batman's comics for your perusal. We have also gathered 3 members of Comics World who has taken up the challenge of sharing their vision of Batman to the comic community. We are proud to support local talent as they hone their skills and develop their artistic acumen.

You are also invited to DRAW/ DOODLE on Comics World's Communal Bat MURAL. Pick up your favorite marker or BYOM (Bring Your Own Marker) and share with the community your vision of Batman. Noelle and her crew will also set up their stall to sell their stickers, keychains, etc.
